A Stay to Forget – Poor Management and Service

Checked into a double room for 2 nights. Unfortunately, management was unaccommodating regarding check-out times, and rude behavior was unchecked. This truly soured my experience. For a better stay, consider requesting clear service guidelines upon arrival.

The friendly staff and clean room provided a surprisingly pleasant experience during the stay, along with the spacious layout and enjoyable atmosphere. However, despite the decent price, not all aspects met expectations, which slightly overshadowed the positives. Free coffee was a nice touch, yet the overall value felt lacking for a wedding weekend.

My parents stayed here and found the upstairs room cozy, but they were pleased when I asked for a downstairs accommodation for their comfort. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a nice gazebo and a beautiful flower patch. Just a note, the ashtrays outside each room weren't great for my asthma, but it didn’t ruin their experience. 🌼

Room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, and flat-screen TV. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom had shampoo, body soap, and a decent shower. The staff were super friendly, and check-in was a breeze. Location was quiet, so sleep was easy. Really good spot for a solo traveler.

We explored the nearby Red Dragon Casino and even caught a show at the Black Box Theatre, both super close. The location is great for fun activities. Just a heads up, make sure to check with the front desk about bed comfort before you settle in.

The towels in our room were old and had holes, which was a letdown. It made things feel less fresh.

I found the Emerald Best Motel to be very welcoming, with a clean and bright room that was perfect for my needs. The staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to assist, which made my stay all the more enjoyable.

More comfortable seating would be appreciated.

I loved how clean and quiet the room was, with a super comfortable bed and a nice updated bathroom. The kitchenette was a lifesaver for quick meals. I'd definitely come back!
